The Customer
C & L Aqua Professionals, Inc.
About The Customer
C & L Aqua Professionals, Inc. is a locally owned and operated wholesale chemical distributor and manufacturer based in Southwest Louisiana. Established in December 1995, the company was formed through the merger of two existing chemical companies. Operating from a central location in Sulphur, Louisiana, C & L Aqua Pro sells, manufactures, and delivers water treatment chemicals to over 500 rural customers within the State of Louisiana.
The Challenge
C & L Aqua Professionals, Inc., a wholesale chemical distributor and manufacturer, was facing operational inefficiencies due to the use of non-industry specific software, Peachtree Accounting, for 17 years. The software forced the company to re-key information and duplicate data into other software packages, leading to redundancy and inefficiency. The company was in dire need of a software solution that could eliminate these redundancies and streamline their business processes. The challenge was to find a software vendor that could offer a complete solution tailored to their industry-specific needs.
The Solution
After demoing four software vendors, C & L Aqua Professionals, Inc. chose Datacor and their ERP software as it offered a complete solution. The Datacor ERP system automatically calculates and tracks information, eliminating the need for double manual entries and logs. This has significantly streamlined the company's business processes, saving time and increasing efficiency. Additionally, the Datacor CRM has made customer information readily available to the sales representatives in the field, eliminating the need for them to call into the office for information. The special instructions feature in Order Entry has also been particularly beneficial, as it automatically prints special instructions on the Work Order and the Bill of Lading, eliminating the need for hard cards for each customer.
