About The Customer
Coface is a French insurance company which, for more than 60 years, has been assisting and promoting the development of companies worldwide. Thanks to its technical capacity and because its teams are close to the clients, it provides customers with a high quality service based on its experience and reputation. The company offers its services to 97 countries on five continents. Its 13 regional platforms coordinate Coface’s overall offer in high potential areas for the improvement of the services it offers on an ongoing basis. The CreditAlliance network brings together high quality partners in the four areas of business in which Coface is active: commercial information and company reports, credit insurance, debt recovery, and factoring.
The Challenge
In 2006, Coface Ibérica, the Spanish division of Coface, realised the need to come up with a business intelligence (BI) solution at a local level. The company needed to take better decisions quickly and to be able to monitor certain critical activities within the company, as a complement to the corporate tools used by the group. The systems department initiated a selection process in which different manufacturers’ products could be evaluated. QlikView was the solution chosen because of its ability to permit a gradual alignment with control frameworks and the ease with which it could be deployed and managed.
The Solution
Coface Ibérica has a QlikView enterprise licence, two professional licences, and a QlikView Server licence for eight users. Initially the company introduced small developments in response to more specific needs in the context of a long-term project. The project was delivered in two stages. The first phase was to install the licences for standalone use, with QlikView documents divided up in the server or users’ individual computers. In the second stage, they installed QlikView Server, which significantly improved both reloading and the control of licences and documents centralised in the server.

If the film quality does not meet the required standards, the degraded quality impacts customer delivery causes customer dissatisfaction and results in lower margins. The biggest challenge was to identify the real root cause and devise a remedy for that.

Prevent Process Inefficiencies with Automated Root Cause Analysis
Manufacturers mostly rely on on-site expert knowledge for root cause analysis. When the defective product is sent to lab for analysis, it is laborious and always a post-mortem one. Manufacturers that collect data from IT and OT also need a comprehensive understanding of a variety of professionals to make sense of it. This is not only time consuming, but also inefficiencient.

CleanTelligent Enhances Janitorial Software Solutions with Infor Birst
CleanTelligent Software, a company that aids in-house and contracted janitorial teams in streamlining communication and improving quality control, faced a significant challenge. Their clients were demanding a more dynamic way to present reporting data. The company's software was primarily used to analyze and summarize a custodial team's performance, replacing a highly manual, paper-driven process. However, the initial differences between service providers in the janitorial industry are often unclear, and the cost of switching is comparatively low. This situation led to high client turnover, with a janitorial company's customer lifetime averaging four years or less. CleanTelligent needed to improve the customer experience with dynamic dashboards and reporting, retain customers through predictive analysis, capitalize on advanced analytics capabilities to build market differentiation, and improve client retention rates.
