About The Customer
Dastmalchi is a consumer goods company based in Newport Beach, California. Since 2010, the company has been committed to creating everyday products that are worthy of consumers' daily routines. Dastmalchi owns and operates a collection of lifestyle, beauty, and wellness brands, taking a unique approach to each brand and every product. The company explores new ideas, pricing models, and distribution channels to ensure they are fulfilling a real need or helping shift the status quo. Dastmalchi is rapidly expanding its global presence, with plans to open Shopify stores in the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia, and extend its Amazon presence and physical stores.
The Challenge
Dastmalchi, a rapidly growing company in the consumer goods industry, faced a significant challenge in managing its e-commerce operations. The company's e-commerce orders from seven active US-based Shopify stores accounted for approximately 75-80% of its business volume, with the remaining orders coming from other marketplaces such as Target.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon. As the company planned to expand its global presence by opening Shopify stores in the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia, it needed a solution that could easily scale with its growth. The challenge was further compounded by the fact that the company had only one tech-savvy person, Susann Cellier, who was responsible for managing all the systems integrations and NetSuite systems administration. She needed a solution that she could manage and maintain without having to hire an outside consultant or build an integration team internally.
The Solution
Dastmalchi had already implemented Netsuite and Celigo Integrator.io with the Amazon and Shopify Integration Apps to automate order processing before Susann joined the team. However, Susann expanded the existing integrations to support Dastmalchi's growth plans, which included automating additional business processes. For direct-to-customer fulfillment, they used Ingram Micro and needed to connect NetSuite to Shipwire. To accomplish this, they further leveraged their Integrator.io investment to build custom flows between Netsuite and Shipwire to send and receive fulfillment information. By using Celigo Integrator.io, Susann was able to manage all of Dastmalchi's integration needs without needing any help from an external IT consultant. This level of automation enabled Dastmalchi to manage its high order volume and continue its growth trajectory.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
