The Challenge
Kustomer, a company that unifies data from multiple sources to deliver consistent and personalized service and support, was in the process of building a new office space. They were in search of an access control solution that would provide a seamless experience for their employees. The challenge was to find a solution that would allow them to scale with their expanding team while also providing the security needed to remain PCI compliant. The company needed a system that would not only be user-friendly but also robust enough to protect sensitive customer information, as they manage customer support for a lot of high profile direct-to-consumer brands.
The Solution
Avigilon Alta's cloud-based and mobile-optimized system was the solution to Kustomer's challenge. The system provided a frictionless workplace access experience, with Alta's mobile credentials allowing Kustomer employees to freely navigate the office without needing to carry around keycards or badges. The system also offered direct integration with G Suite, meaning that whenever an employee was added or removed from their company directory, their Alta credential was automatically issued or revoked. This feature ensured that the access control system was always up-to-date with the company's employee directory. Furthermore, the system allowed Kustomer to remain PCI compliant, protecting the private information of the high profile direct-to-consumer brands they manage.
