The company has over 1.3 million Instagram followers and is committed to innovation and superior customer support.
Mindvalley, an ed-tech company, was facing a challenge in driving up lead acquisition for its masterclasses. The company was primarily dependent on swipe up stories and link in bio to drive people from awareness to the masterclasses. With over 1.3 million Instagram followers, the company was receiving a large number of direct messages about its masterclasses. The team was looking for a solution to respond to these messages more quickly than manually answering them. The goal was to use Instagram Automation not only to increase masterclass sign-ups but also to provide a more personalized experience for followers and drive more engagement.
Mindvalley collaborated with Natasha Takahashi of School of Bots to create an automated campaign and conversation design using ManyChat’s Flow Builder. They used organic Instagram content to promote the upcoming masterclasses and encouraged followers to DM them with a specific word, phrase, or emoji to chat with them in Instagram Messenger. When followers interacted with Mindvalley’s content, they were prompted to message Mindvalley in Instagram Messages with a keyword. This keyword would trigger an automated response from ManyChat. Mindvalley also collected demographic data about the person’s goals, challenges, and experience level with specific topics to tailor message copy and offers. The Mindvalley team could jump into a chat to support people further if needed using ManyChat’s Live Chat feature.
