CosaTron
About The Customer
CosaTron is a company that specializes in providing high-value, remote air quality monitoring services. Their primary customers are building owners and facilities managers who require real-time data and insights on the air quality within their premises. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for their services increased significantly as the need for monitoring indoor air quality became more urgent. Customers also expressed a desire to review the air quality data themselves, prompting CosaTron to seek a solution that could meet these new requirements.
The Challenge
CosaTron, a company that provides high-value, remote air quality monitoring services for building owners and facilities managers, faced a significant challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The urgency to monitor indoor air quality increased exponentially among their customers. This was primarily due to the heightened awareness and concern about the spread of the virus in enclosed spaces. Additionally, customers expressed a need to review the indoor air quality themselves. This requirement posed a challenge for CosaTron as it necessitated a solution that could provide real-time, remote monitoring of indoor air quality sensors, which was not part of their existing service offerings.
The Solution
To address these challenges, CosaTron turned to AVEVA's solutions - the AVEVA Data Hub and the AVEVA PI System. The AVEVA Data Hub enabled CosaTron to collect and display air quality data in real-time, allowing their clients to monitor the air quality themselves. This solution provided a high-value, remote air quality monitoring service that was in high demand due to the pandemic. Furthermore, the AVEVA PI System allowed CosaTron to offer advanced analytic insights based on the collected data. These insights were used to provide recommendations to their customers, adding another layer of value to their service offerings.
