挑战
CAM2, a world-class automotive lubricants company, was in a critical phase of expanding its market reach. The company needed a software solution that could cater to its growing needs and help manage its operations across four locations in the United States and numerous distributors worldwide. The challenge was to find a software package that was specifically designed for lubricant and chemical companies and could provide an all-in-one solution, covering manufacturing, accounting, and sales management.
解决方案
After evaluating different software solutions for almost a year, CAM2 chose Chempax as it was specifically developed for lubricant and chemical companies. Chempax provided an all-in-one solution, covering all aspects of CAM2's business, from manufacturing to accounting to sales management. As CAM2 grew and opened more manufacturing facilities, Chempax tied them all together in real time, providing accurate information to the company's management and staff. The software also helped CAM2 develop standard operating procedures, making the company more efficient in production and better able to control and manage its inventory at multiple locations. Datacor, the company behind Chempax, provided full support during the implementation process, offering training and ongoing support.

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).

A large German/American producer of auto parts uses high-pressure pumps to deburr machined parts as a part of its production and quality check process. They decided to monitor these pumps to make sure they work properly and that they can see any indications leading to a potential failure before it affects their process.
