关于客户
PC Electric is a company based in Upper Austria that specializes in the production of industrial plugs, sockets, and small distribution boxes. The company was founded in 1973 and has since established itself as a leader in its industry. PC Electric is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, constantly seeking ways to improve its operations and better serve its customers. The company operates on a global scale, serving a diverse range of clients across various industries. As a forward-thinking organization, PC Electric recognizes the importance of leveraging technology to drive business growth and efficiency.
挑战
PC Electric, a manufacturer of industrial plugs, sockets, and small distributors, was seeking a flexible business intelligence (BI) solution that could adapt to the dynamically changing conditions of day-to-day business. The company wanted to be able to incorporate internal and external data sources without having to rely on IT experts. They also wanted a solution that could be expanded to meet future reporting and business analysis needs. Furthermore, they did not want to get involved in a complex BI project requiring a month of preparation. Instead, they sought an easily understandable and easy-to-use tool that could be quickly installed and quickly offer palpable results.
解决方案
PC Electric chose QlikView as their BI solution. The system was implemented with the help of QlikTech partner Standard IT Solutions. QlikView was deployed to roughly 25 employees across four functional areas, including management, sales, operations, and finance. The software was quickly installed and started providing results in just a few days. Two company employees were trained over two days on how to administer the software and model applications. The intuitive, graphically oriented user interface made user training unnecessary. QlikView is now used on all levels of the company to manage, analyze, and optimize processes and metrics. The company plans to use QlikView in a major project – the introduction of a new ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Improving Production Line Efficiency with Ethernet Micro RTU Controller
Moxa was asked to provide a connectivity solution for one of the world's leading cosmetics companies. This multinational corporation, with retail presence in 130 countries, 23 global braches, and over 66,000 employees, sought to improve the efficiency of their production process by migrating from manual monitoring to an automatic productivity monitoring system. The production line was being monitored by ABB Real-TPI, a factory information system that offers data collection and analysis to improve plant efficiency. Due to software limitations, the customer needed an OPC server and a corresponding I/O solution to collect data from additional sensor devices for the Real-TPI system. The goal is to enable the factory information system to more thoroughly collect data from every corner of the production line. This will improve its ability to measure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and translate into increased production efficiencies. System Requirements • Instant status updates while still consuming minimal bandwidth to relieve strain on limited factory networks • Interoperable with ABB Real-TPI • Small form factor appropriate for deployment where space is scarce • Remote software management and configuration to simplify operations
