The company specializes in customer care, billing and order management systems for telecommunications carriers and Internet service providers. The Amdocs portfolio simplifies the customer experience and enables telco companies to harness and capitalize on the data explosion, stay ahead with new digital services and improve operational efficiency. Serving customers in 60+ countries, Amdocs employs 20,000 people and had revenues of $3.2 billion in 2012.
The Challenge
Tier-1 and Tier-2 telco companies—big and complex organizations—rely on Amdocs to support their business and operational transformations into Digital Enterprises. Such massive transformations involve many different stakeholders, each with a different focus, view and interest. Managing these stakeholders and assuring clear communications during a large-scale project is absolutely critical to success.
The Solution
Amdocs developed the Solution Book, an innovative collaboration platform based on Software AG’s ARIS software and BPM methodology. The book applies telco best practices for building relationships between various dimensions of an enterprise architecture—business processes, functional solutions, KPIs and value. ARIS acts as a unified platform to meet both business and technological requirements.
