Since its expansion to Asia in 2014, the organization has been steadily growing, with over 80 locations in the region. The organization’s 2,000 employees include teachers and educators, as well as support and administration staff. Depending on their role and location, each employee requires varying technology to fulfill their job. The IT team, led by IT Director Jordan Yap, oversees the company’s IT needs, including infrastructure, enterprise apps, e-learning, security, and more.
The Challenge
Busy Bees Asia, a rapidly growing early education provider, was grappling with an inefficient manual IT provisioning process. The organization, which has expanded to over 80 locations since its inception in 2014, was struggling to standardize and improve processes across its various locations. The IT team, led by IT Director Jordan Yap, was responsible for managing the company’s IT needs for over 2,000 employees, including infrastructure, enterprise apps, e-learning, security, and more. One of the most critical processes was the company’s IT provisioning needs, which ensured employees had access to the technology they needed to do their jobs. As the organization continued to grow, so did the demand for technology tools. The organization needed more powerful and comprehensive solutions to help it scale its digital workplace solutions.
The Solution
Busy Bees Asia turned to Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms to automate its provisioning requirements. The user-friendly interface and responsive forms of the Nintex Process Platform provided the solution they needed. With the help of SRKK Consulting, Busy Bees Asia was able to automate the end-to-end process of receiving provisioning requests. When an existing or new employee needs licensing, an online form is completed by the user, manager, or HR. The request is sent to applicable stakeholders for approval, and once approved, Nintex creates user accounts and assigns the licenses. This solution also ensures that new employees have access to everything they need to do their jobs on day one. The same process is also used when people change roles or leave the company. HR completes another online form, sets the departure or change date, and the Nintex workflow will disable the account based on the submission from HR.
