挑战
世界级汽车制造商标致雪铁龙在发动机部件(特别是排气歧管)的开发方面面临着重大挑战。排气歧管的设计对于内燃机的最佳性能至关重要,并且必须能够承受恶劣的运行条件。 PSA 进行复杂的热机械计算以确定排气歧管的使用寿命。根据这些计算,可以得出设计变更并向组件供应商提出建议。然而,供应商经常发现很难正确解释 PSA CAE 工程师建议的设计改进。此外,此类设计变更的完整评估周期大约需要三周时间,不能保证它代表了该时间后的最终设计状态。这导致在给定的开发时间内只能进行少量的设计更改和评估,从而使歧管的设计成为发动机开发中的关键任务。 PSA 需要改变整体开发工作流程,使其更快,并能够同时评估更多设计变体。
解决方案
为了应对这一挑战,PSA利用HyperMesh内部的HyperWorks变形技术(HyperMorph)来快速改变排气歧管的设计。该技术可以快速实施设计更改,同时避免中间 CAD 更改。因此,在实施所有改进后,只需要进行一次 CAD 修订。采用 HyperWorks 变形技术的新工作流程将评估周期从三周大幅缩短至短短两天。这一新流程使 CAE 工程师能够自行进行修改,而无需向供应商提出建议。该变形技术还可用于各种其他发动机部件,例如气缸盖、曲轴箱、壳体箱等。开发过程的下一步发展将是使用变形技术对此类组件进行形状优化。

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).
